The Samsung Galaxy S20 series of smartphones all have support for 15w Qi-based wireless charging. In fact, the phones support Wireless Powershare like the S10 series, which allows the phones themselves to serve as wireless chargers for other compatible phones and devices.
Wireless charging is still not as fast as plain old-fashioned wired charging for the Galaxy S20. Still, there’s something to be said about the convenience of just setting a phone down on a pad where it will automatically start charging up. The Samsung Fast Charge Wireless Charger Stand is exactly that: a charging stand outputting a charge to Qi-compatible smartphones. Output tops out at 9W for Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the S20, and 7.5W for iPhones. The output for other devices may vary.
The fan makes sure the stand doesn’t overheat when charging your smartphone. There’s also an LED indicator that turns red when a device is charging and green when a device is fully charged. If the light bothers you at night, you have the option to turn it off.
